Q: How does the PCM identify a request?
How does the PCM know which incoming email is a request and which is not?
Answer:
Currently there are the following ways the PCM detects an email request:
- You can create an IMAP or MS Exchange folder on your mail server and tell the PCM about it (see menu Accounts Settings). After that, any email found in that folder is picked up by the PCM. You basically need to move a message from yout Inbox into that folder to tell the PCM it is a request.
- An email message sent by another PCM is detected automatically during Inbox scan, moved into the PCM's database, and removed from your Inbox.
- If subject of an email message starts with "request:" or "task request:" the PCM treats it as a request by default and moves the message into your request folder on the mail server (see #1)
